It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like…Easter?

Though Easter isn’t until April 4th, I’ve got Peeps and Pez dispensers on my mind these days, as I have an assignment to write about how to make kick ass kid-friendly Easter baskets. (I get to assemble the baskets too!) Many local shops were kind enough to send me samples of their products and more will be arriving throughout the week. Yesterday’s booty: Chocolate covered Peeps! Tasty, yes, though I’m holding out for the shipment of Cadbury Mini Eggs, my all-time favorite Easter candy. What’s your favorite?

I have to admit, I have a weird liking for peeps — and covered in chocolate?– could be dangerous. BUT those cadbury mini eggs are the best; thank goodness they are not around all year!

Ugh! Darn those Cadbury mini eggs. I LOVE them way too much. Glad they are now residing in the basement freezer. Out of sight, out of mind. Chocolate covered Peeps? Why do they keep inventing MORE and MORE food to tempt us? I might have to put in a request to the Easter Bunny.

I know! We finished the first bag and I am vowing not to open the second until it’s closer to Easter. It’s not like I don’t have plenty of other candy to tempt me though. Speaking of which, your box should be arriving tomorrow. šŸ™‚
